Fried Bologna Sandwiches

1. Fry the Bologna
Heat a skillet over medium heat.
Add bologna slices in a single layer.
Cook 2–3 minutes per side, until deeply browned and edges are crispy and curled.
Optional: Top with cheese during the last minute to melt.
2. Toast the Bread
Spread butter or mayo on one side of each bread slice.
Place butter-side down in the same skillet (or use a second pan); toast 1–2 minutes until golden.
3. Assemble & Serve
Spread condiments on the unbuttered side of bread.
Add hot fried bologna (and cheese, if using).
Close sandwich and serve immediately while crispy!
